What happens
Danny Quinn, a gambler down on his luck, hears about a sunken city called Port Royal and a salvage expert named Fletcher Travis. After Danny recovers a stolen chart for Travis, he talks his way onto the expedition, sailing out with Captain Mattson and the crew. Travis descends in a diving suit and brings up gold-filled chests, and the haul quickly grows large. Danny begins to plot against his partners, while the crew's sense of the treasure's value starts to shape their decisions. Escape is a radio drama series, and this episode aired on March 10, 1950, starring Charles McGraw as Danny Quinn, John Dana as Fletcher Travis and Bill Conrad as Captain Mattson.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
