What happens
Duffy's Tavern is a comedy series set in a New York restaurant run by Archie and his friends. In this episode, Archie tries to raise money for a new floor show. He hopes that Maxie Rosenbloom, the retired fighter, might back the production. Archie courts Miss Duffy, Maxie tries to get involved in the show, and the Mad Russian boasts of his business ventures. The episode originally aired on April 13, 1951, on CBS, NBC Blue and NBC, with Ed Gardner, Shirley Booth, Charlie Cantor and Florence Halop among the cast.
