What happens
Archie, the manager of Duffy's Tavern, is told by his doctor that he has only three days to live, and the news spreads quickly through the tavern. Eddie and Finnegan take it seriously and gather money to help him with his final expenses, while Miss Duffy and the regulars react in their own ways. Archie, meanwhile, bids his friends a dramatic farewell and tries to arrange his affairs before the deadline. This is an episode of the Duffy's Tavern series, originally broadcast on February 9, 1949, with Ed Gardner and Shirley Booth in the leading roles.
