What happens
At Duffy's Tavern, Archie and Finnegan host guest John J. Anthony, a radio advice columnist whose marriage counseling Archie has long mocked. Archie interviews Anthony, who takes up the problems of several regulars, including Miss Duffy, a lovelorn young woman, and Mrs. Nussbaum, whose husband Pierre has left her. Finnegan, meanwhile, finds himself the target of Mrs. Nussbaum's pursuit. Anthony offers advice to each visitor, and the episode is broadcast as part of Duffy's Tavern, a comedy series starring Ed Gardner, first aired on January 22, 1947.

Listen for: Anthony's advice to the tavern's regulars and Mrs. Nussbaum's account of her marriage to Pierre
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
