What happens

Broadway, a narrator, is drawn into a rivalry between Dave the Dude and gossip columnist Waldo Winchester over the nightclub singer Billy Perry. After Broadway is seen introducing Winchester to her, Dave the Dude threatens him and demands that the romance end by ten o'clock that night. The story unfolds at the 1600 Club, where Broadway and Harry the Horse watch the tension build between the men.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
