What happens
The Comic Weekly Man visits a young listener named Miss Honey and reads comic strips aloud to her. Hopalong Cassidy pursues men in a wagon who are believed to be secretly arming Indians with rifles hidden beneath hay bales. Prince Valiant learns that the Viking Boltar has seized a ship under a royal guarantee of safety. Flash Gordon and Queen Menta are trapped in a buried sandcar on Mars, and the story also follows Dagwood's employer Mr. Dithers, Roy Rogers, Dick's Adventures, Rusty Riley and Alice in Wonderland. Each strip ends on a cliffhanger, with the listener invited back for the next week's reading.
A comic-strip reading program on old-time radio, with stories set in the American frontier, the Viking age, Mars, suburban America, the Barbary coast, a ranch and farm country, and Wonderland.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
