What happens

The Comic Weekly Man reads the funnies from Puck the Comic Weekly to a young listener named Miss Honey. He first reads Prince Val, in which Prince Val is in Ireland, where he watches the leaders of two warring clans settle their feud in single combat. Then comes Roy Rogers, in which Roy and Wildwood O'Dowd investigate a construction camp where railroad payroll robbers may be hiding. Next is Walt Disney's The Sword in the Rose, about the princess Mary and the guardsman Brandon in Henry's England. Dick's Adventure follows Dick, a printer's devil, at the California Star. Rusty Riley and Tex head for the Milestone Farm carrying the horse Silver Lad, and the Dagwood and Blondie strip, Donald Duck and Flash Gordon round out the reading.

Summer 1953 on a radio programme; the strips are set in Ireland, England, California and elsewhere, with a science-fiction setting on Titan.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
