What happens

The Comic Weekly Man reads aloud from the funny pages of Puck, the comic weekly, to a young listener named Miss Honey. He introduces several strips in turn. Snookums tells of Archie singing to an empty crib while the baby sleeps elsewhere. Flash Gordon has been captured by Zarn and forced to pretend he breathed the mind-controlling gas, while Rubia wants him to forget Dale. Dick's Adventures follows Dick with Paul Revere during the Boston Tea Party. Rusty Riley overhears a plot against the horse Blaze. Donald Duck, Roy Rogers, Blondie and Prince Valiant follow. The reading is light, with the announcer's chatter running between strips.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
