What happens
The Comic Weekly Man reads the funny pages aloud to a listener, Miss Honey, and walks through several comic strips from the weekly paper. A father named Archie searches the neighborhood for his lost baby, Snookums. Flash Gordon faces a plot by the villain Zinn to turn him into an obedient zombie. Dick's Adventures follows Dick and Paul Revere as they plan a protest against the tea tax in Boston. Rusty Riley learns that Taffy Allardice is plotting to harm a horse, and Donald Duck struggles with a climbing ivy plant. Dagwood and Blondie, and Prince Valiant round out the reading. The strips end on cliffhangers, with each story left unresolved.

Listen for: The announcer's cheerful reading of each comic strip, with the storylines carried over to the next week.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
