What happens
Comic Weekly Man reads the funnies to a young listener, moving from one comic strip to the next. Hopalong Cassidy learns that Calico and her gang are terrorizing the local ranchers, and he calls the townsfolk together to plan a march on Sulphur City. Prince Valiant and his companions face an enormous barbarian army blocking the road ahead. The broadcast also includes Dagwood and Blondie, Roy Rogers, Uncle Remus, Flash Gordon, Dick's adventures and Rusty Riley, with each story left at a cliffhanger.
