What happens
The Comic Weekly Man reads the comics aloud to two children from Puck the Comic Weekly, beginning with Hopalong Cassidy. Hoppy has taken young Felipe home to his father's ranch, but Sheriff Wilson and his posse have followed him there, and Sloat hopes to stir up a mob against the prisoners. Between the comic strips, the children discuss Easter eggs and the Bunny, and the strips featured include Prince Valiant, Uncle Remus, Flash Gordon, Dagwood and Blondie, Roy Rogers, Dick's Adventures and Rusty Riley. Each strip ends on a cliffhanger, and the children look forward to the next week's readings.
A radio broadcast read in the Comic Weekly Man's living room, with the comic strips' settings including the Old West, the Arctic, Brer Rabbit's woods, outer space, the Revolutionary War and a Kentucky road.

Listen for: The comic strip stories, read aloud in the Comic Weekly Man's voice, with the children's commentary between them.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
