What happens

The Comic Weekly Man reads aloud from Puck the Comic Weekly, a children's comic magazine, to a listener named Miss Honey. Hopalong Cassidy is captured by bandit Vane's gang and later, with Don Ramon, finds his ranch land holds valuable oil while outlaws ambush them. Prince Valiant takes the injured boy Arn over the Alps toward a doctor in Torino. Flash Gordon and Dale find the Beetleman's cannon on the moon. Dagwood tangles with a freight elevator while Blondie gossips with Mrs. Snidley. Roy Rogers and Trigger face outlaw Stoggy Grimes, and Uncle Remus tells a tale of Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear and the honey. Dick's Adventures takes Dick to Valley Forge, and Rusty Riley is trapped in a truck by the thief Smith.

Puck the Comic Weekly, read aloud on the radio, spanning the American West, the Alps, the moon, a town street, Valley Forge, and a sawmill.

Listen for: The comic strip episodes, read in turn, each ending on a cliffhanger.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
