What happens

The Comic Weekly Man reads the funnies aloud to his listeners from the pages of Puck. He first tells of Hoppy Cassidy, who has trailed the outlaw Chameleon to an old Aztec temple, where he is surrounded by the gang and tries to win them over, while his friends Lucky and California follow him. Next comes Prince Valiant, in which Val and Arn make their way down a river toward home, where their family has been grieving for them. Then the Comic Weekly Man reads Uncle Remus's story of Bro Rabbit and his stolen firewood. The reading continues with Flash Gordon, Dick's Adventures, Dagwood and Blondie, and Roy Rogers, King of the Cowboys.

A radio reading of the Puck comic weekly, with the Comic Weekly Man introducing each strip.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
