What happens
The Comic Weekly Man reads aloud from Puck the Comic Weekly to a young listener named Miss Sunny, opening with a pair of riddles before turning to the strips. Beetle Bailey is left stuck to the barracks floor after a prank with long nails, and Prince Arn, lost in the forest with his dog, is found by a peasant who hears the dog howling. Roy Rogers pursues runaway horses to rescue Dolph Hawkins, while Peter Pan leads the children to Neverland and Flash Gordon's ship is forced to land on the moon. Dagwood and Herb Woodley take up boxing, and Dick Tracy's ally La Fitte is spared from the gallows on condition that he fight for the Americans. Rusty Riley and a carnival man plan to expose a card cheat. The episode is part of the Comic Weekly Man series, first aired March 1, 1953.

Listen for: The Comic Weekly Man's riddles and the ends of the strips he reads, including Flash Gordon landing on the moon and Rusty Riley overhearing Necro's plan.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
