What happens

Gracie Allen and George Burns are out selling war bonds in their neighborhood, and their housekeeper, Mrs. Regan, is enjoying a Frank Sinatra record while they are away. George has been hoping to sing on the bond show that evening at Warner Brothers Theatre, but Sinatra is also scheduled to perform. Gracie and Mrs. Regan decide to prevent Sinatra from appearing by slipping him a bottle of knockout drops. The Burns and Allen series comedy follows Gracie's scheme as it unfolds through a series of mistaken identities and bungled attempts at selling a patent medicine.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
