What happens
Gracie Allen and George Burns shop at a downtown department store during a February clearance sale, where Gracie has slipped a mink coat onto his shopping list. George refuses to buy it, and their attempts to shop turn into a series of mishaps, including a fashion show and an elevator ride. Back home, Gracie keeps pressing him for a fur coat, and friends suggest a hunting trip as a way for George to get one himself. The story follows the group's chatter and the comic confusion of the outing.
