What happens
Gracie Allen and her neighbour Mrs. Morton are unable to find meat during the wartime shortage, so they bring home fish and weenies. Gracie hopes a weenie roast at the beach will bring back her husband George Burns's romantic feelings. George, however, is more interested in the World Series game, and Gracie's efforts to win his attention grow increasingly frustrated. The episode is an installment of the Burns and Allen radio series, first broadcast on October 10, 1946, and sponsored by Maxwell House Coffee, with Bill Goodwin as announcer and music by Meredith Willson and his orchestra.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
