What happens

Gracie Allen and George Burns take part in a 1948 Easter episode of their comedy series, first broadcast on March 25, 1948. Each year Gracie flatters George before asking him for money, and this time she wants to buy him a new suit for the Easter parade. George believes her plan is to get money for herself, so he resists her requests. Neighbors Bill Goodwin, Dr. Miller and Mr. Judson turn up along the way, and Gracie's attempts to measure George and pay a tailor lead to a series of mix-ups. Meredith Willson and Mel Blanc also appear in the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
