What happens

George Burns visits a recording company to try to put his new song on record, where he meets Mr. Davis, the company president, who once signed him personally. Later, theatrical agent Al Kingston approaches George and Gracie Allen about the play Dulcy, offering Gracie the title role and George a part as her husband. Gracie hesitates, and the discussion turns to billing, rehearsal plans and changes to the script. The Burns and Allen series aired on CBS and NBC radio, and this episode is dated February 15, 1950.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
