What happens
Detective Danny Clover investigates the murder of Joe Blair, a young hitchhiker stabbed to death in an expensive hotel room. The victim's only clue is a set of dance tickets from a dime-a-dance hall, which leads Clover to interview Vicki, a dance hostess who spent time with Blair the night he died. Through her, Clover learns that Blair mentioned needing to see a man named John Logan in the morning, setting the stage for deeper inquiry into the victim's mysterious business in the city.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
