What happens
Detective Danny Clover investigates the apparent suicide of Jimmy Dorn, a man who recently won $17,000 in a sweepstakes lottery. Despite the case being ruled a suicide after Dorn jumped in front of a subway train, something about the death troubles Clover. His investigation leads him to discover that Dorn was once part of a circus act called the Three Whirling Tornadoes, alongside performers Joe Daniloff and a man named Brody, suggesting there may be more to the story than a simple suicide.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
