What happens

Detective Danny Clover encounters Henry Baker, an eccentric millionaire giving away money on Broadway. When Baker's brother George asks Clover to help keep Henry out of an institution, Clover agrees to arrange medical care. But soon Henry claims his brother is trying to murder him, and Clover discovers a fired gun under Henry's bed and broken glass from an interior window—raising questions about whether the threat is real.
