New York City, November; a condemned nightclub building being demolished, a skid row bar called the Jukebox and Fat Cat, and Ms. Devlin's apartment
Characters: Detective Danny Clover, Bob Foster, Joe Turner, Aggie Blaine, Ms. Devlin
Listen for: The noir atmosphere of Broadway at night, Joe Turner's fractured confessions about Foster's theft and the nightclub's failure, and Detective Clover's methodical questioning as the mystery unfolds
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
