What happens

Dan Holiday receives an urgent letter offering $10,000 to retrieve something valuable from the Philippines for a mysterious, frightened man named Joseph Krell. Holiday travels to Manila to contact Krell's associate but finds him dead, murdered by a fake police officer who is actually Krell's former partner seeking the same mysterious item.

Manila, Philippines and the United States

Characters: Dan Holiday, Joseph Krell, Lieutenant Keith, Lieutenant Marinos, Sergeant Enrique Coddas, Carlos, Susie

Listen for: The revelation that the item Krell sought was actually a map leading to hidden money, and Holiday's clever substitution of the treasure with a flag representing the people Krell betrayed

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
