At a rodeo, rider Bell Adams is thrown from her horse and seriously injured. She claims Hazel Henry, a rival rider, sabotaged the horse to kill her. Boston Blackie arrives at the rodeo to investigate, but suspicion soon falls on Hazel's husband Slim, who may have staged the accident himself to eliminate both his wife and his girlfriend Bell.

A rodeo arena and grounds, with stables, corrals, and a constable's office.

Characters: Boston Blackie, Bell Adams, Hazel Henry, Slim Waters, Mary, Inspector Faraday, Doc, Bonnie

Listen for: A mystery of attempted murder at a rodeo, with Blackie untangling competing suspects and motives while a thrown knife reveals hidden allegiances.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
