What happens

Nurse Mary Wesley is called to a private home to care for Bill Rogers, supposedly hit by an automobile. When she's abruptly discharged after administering a sedative, she suspects foul play and returns with Boston Blackie to investigate. They discover Bill Rogers dead, apparently fallen from a third-story window, though Blackie believes it's murder, not suicide.

A private home on Eastern Boulevard and later a house on Downey Street in the city, plus Inspector Faraday's office.

Characters: Boston Blackie, Mary Wesley, Bill Rogers, Ed Rogers, Dr. Jones, Inspector Faraday, Dr. Wallace, Sam

Listen for: Mary's suspicions about the fake hospital room setup and the rushed discharge; Blackie's deduction about how long the hypodermic drug should have kept Bill asleep; the confrontation at the Downey Street address where the murderers' plan is revealed.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
