What happens

Boston Blackie sends his friend Mary to pose as a hired girl on the Bolton farm to investigate whether fugitive Donald Bolton is hiding there. When Blackie arrives the next morning and finds that the Boltons claim they never hired anyone, he discovers that Mary has vanished without a trace.
