What happens

Boston Blackie is framed for a warehouse robbery and murder when incriminating film footage shows him at the scene with a gun. Inspector Faraday knows the evidence is too convenient to be real, but Blackie confesses to the crime anyway, drawing police attention while he attempts to infiltrate the criminal gang responsible for the actual theft and killing.

Boston; a police precinct, a warehouse on Front Street, Blackie's apartment, and the waterfront near a cafe

Characters: Boston Blackie, Inspector Faraday, Mary (Miss Wesley), Billy Boy, Joe, The Boss, Dick Colmer

Listen for: The clever use of fake motion pictures as evidence, Blackie's calculated confession to attract the real criminals' attention, and the interplay between Blackie and Inspector Faraday who understands the frame-up but must pursue him anyway.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
