What happens
Sue Adams comes to Boston Blackie in fear for her life, confessing that she helped Joe Lang bury his murdered wife Sally in the basement. She believes Lang plans to kill her at his mountain cabin. When Inspector Faraday arrives with an accusation based on a call from Sally's brother Billy Wilson, Blackie reveals the truth and heads to Lang's house to investigate. As the fire suddenly breaks out, Blackie finds himself trapped inside with flames spreading rapidly.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
