What happens

Sergeant Blair of the Royal Northwest Mounted Police is stationed at a small post at Fort McAllister in the Canadian Northwest. During a blizzard, the trapper Bell arrives at the cabin with his assistant Angus Cameron and reports being robbed on the trail at Long Cooley. He says he recognised one of the robbers as Fingers Smith, a man Blair once arrested. Blair organises a pursuit with Marshall and the Indian trackers Joe and Little Bear, following the tracks west toward the frozen river. The episode is from the series Blair of the Mounties, and its original air date was 1938-02-07.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
