What happens
When a mysterious visitor climbs through Barry Craig's window at midnight, he claims to be a novelist seeking advice on an unsolvable murder plot: poisoning a heart-disease victim by replacing his medicine capsules with water. The next morning, Craig discovers that a crooked broker named James W. Baker—who suffered from heart disease—has died suddenly. Craig visits Baker's house to investigate whether the fictional murder scheme has become reality.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
