What happens

Confidential investigator Barry Craig arrives at a Florida motel where the co-owner Harry Jollis has mysteriously disappeared. Harry's business partner Mo Birch reveals that Harry recently married a cabaret singer named Kiki Adams, began associating with dangerous characters, and withdrew his money—but the bus ticket he supposedly used to flee to Key West shows no record of him boarding. Craig stays to investigate Harry's disappearance while discovering that Kiki, Harry's wife, still remains in town rather than following her husband.

A motel called the Happy Traveler on a Florida highway about 100 miles north of Miami, and the surrounding town including a cabaret club called the Downbeat.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
