What happens

Barry Craig investigates the murder of Cleo Odell Caesar, a contestant in a Mrs. Apple Pie 1952 baking contest with a $20,000 prize. Cleo was beaten to death and then placed in a car with a wedged accelerator, sent down a steep incline to appear as a tragic accident. Barry must uncover which of the envious contestants or other parties wanted Cleo eliminated from the competition.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
