This is jazz. This is jazz's radio's only live-town and presentation of authentic improvised New Orleans jazz. The writer and narrator is Rudy Bletch.

Famous jazz, pretty, and author of the recent book, Shining Cropets, a definitive colorful history of this American music. Each week at this time he and his great jazzmen bring you a solid half hour of superb improvised jazz and scenes from his history.

So here is Rudy Bletch. Thanks, John Frederick, and here we are all set to go on the 30th section of D this jazz. Well, the all-star stompers are here ready to give you some more of that authentic jazz that they're famous for.

I'm going to call the roll. There's Wild Bill Davison, Cornette. Wow. Albert Nicholas, clarinet. Jimi Archie, trombone. Pop, foster bass. Ralph Sutton, piano. Danny Barker, guitar. Yeah, and baby dod drum. And so with no more of this fooling around, we're going to take the lead off of this program with the New Orleans Jazz Classic of nearly 30 years ago at the Jazz Band Ball.

The good in providing jazz band can always provide lots of variety, changes of tempo of rhythm and of mood, and can provide a host of beautiful varied melodies.

In eight months of this jazz, we haven't come even near to finding the bottom of the song bag, jazz jazz. And here's another old favorite that we haven't played before. Sometimes I'm happy, sometimes I'm blue.

As a massive popular song written year in and year out, a selected few find their way into the permanent jazz repertory.

The melody and the general fitness for group improvising of a tune are the prime considerations. And now our guest vocalist, the great chippy hill, joins in with the stompers as we bring you one of these American classics, some of these days.
