The National Broadcasting Company presents, Transcribed Sir Lawrence Olivier in Theatre Royal. This is Laurence Olivier. will I feel sure be already familiar to you through the many films he has made which have enjoyed success in the United States. I refer to such motion pictures as the Golden Salamander, the third man and perhaps best known of all, brief encounter.

Would you like to hear it? Very well then, but I warn you, this isn't an ordinary story, and you can't listen to it in the ordinary way. You'll have to pay attention, and you'll have to think.
