The Signal Oil Program? The Whistler. That whistle is your signal for the Signal Oil Program? The Whistler. I am the Whistler, and I know many things, before I walk by night. I know many strange tales hidden in the hearts of men and women who have stepped into the shadows.

Yes, I know the nameless terrors of which they dare not speak. Yes friends, it's time for the Signal Oil program, the Whistler, rated tops in popularity for a longer period of time than any other West Coast program in radio history.

And Signal gasoline is top two tops in quality. It takes extra quality, you know, to give you extra mileage. And Signal is the famous Go farther gasoline. So look for the Signal Circle sign in yellow and black that identifies friendly dealer-owned signal station from Canada to Mexico. And now the Whistler Strange story.

Nightmare. In the bouncing glare of the headlights, the narrow shoreline road twisted and turned dangerously. Signposts, clumps of pine trees, driveways to darken estates, world past Philip Adams as he raced through the night. And behind him the sirens grew louder and louder.

As Philip Adams ran from the car into the brush, he patted his foot past the bulging Manila envelope would still land. Francis tore his clothing. He stumbled on the lucky path. Well, quickly he staggered to his feet and plunged on into the thick undergrowth.

And then he heard voices and stopped to listen. Hey, Mac, you and Charlie cover the creek there. Hey! Oh Eddie, get that spot on the road, will ya? Alright, the rest of you, come on.

Hey! Hey down there, any luck? That'll be around here somewhere. Are you sure this is the guy we're looking for, Lieutenant? Yeah, yeah, we checked the license number. That was alright. Mmm, I think he might still have the doll on him.
