And now stay tuned for the Mystery Program that is unique among all Mystery Programs. Because even when you know who's guilty, you always receive a startling surprise at the final curtain. In the Signal Oil Program, the Whistler.
Signal the famous Go Father gasoline invites you to sit back and enjoy another strange story by the Whistler. I'm the Whistler, and I know many things, or I walk by night. I know many strange tales hidden in the hearts of men and women who have stepped into the shadow.
Yes, I know the nameless terrors of which they dare not speak. And now for the signal oil company, the Whistler's strange story. Murder in mind. The Hollister House looked as permanent as the hillside had occupied in the exclusive Terrace Heights District on the outskirts of town. The house itself sprawled along the crest of the hill, overlooking the rambling wooded ground. That late afternoon in early
spring, Gil Hollister and his wife Vicki sat facing one another on the broad terrace, needed soap for a time for they were waiting, waiting for something to happen, and then Gil The old sprain to her feet and started pacing the stone floor terror.
We ought to be hearing something by now. It shouldn't take this long. I'll be quiet with you, Gil. I'm trying to listen. I'm trying not to. Don't tell me you're sorry you didn't. I'm not sorry, Vicki. I'm not anything.
Wish it were over and at all. If you did what you were supposed to do, we won't have much longer to wait. Oh, Gil, stop taking me. I've got to do something. How about a drink?
