Thank you, Del King. And a warm welcome to everyone of you. As you know, Sally Carter, the young wife in our story, wants everyone else to be just as happy as she is. For example, there's a new neighbor in the building and according to Sally.

Jim, darling, if we could just make a hero out of Mr. Hardy. If we could just think of some... Sally, please. Mrs. Hardy rules the roost. Mr. Hardy is an unhappy, hen-pecked husband, but it's definitely none of your business.

But Sally made his hair business, as you find out in just a minute, when we bring you today's story called The Hero. And right after the story, I'm going to give you the recipe for a pineapple whip, a perfect warm weather visit, because most of the work is done by your refrigerators.
