Everybody in Mary Lee's kitchen has been working like a beaver for the past few weeks on a new collection of recipes for candies, cookies and other holiday treats. And today the collection is complete and ready to send you.

It's brand new, it's wonderful, it's yours for the after. Just write to Mary Lee Taylor, tell this station, or to pet milk, St. Louis, zone one, Missouri, and say you want holiday recipes. That's the name of the book, Holiday Recipes.

And now it's Mary Lee on NBC. Hello, this is Mary Lee Taylor, extending a warm welcome to all of you from all of us here in my NBC kitchen. The story you're here today about Jim and Sally Carter Really began when Jim said, I'm tired of being cooped up in this two by four apartment.

Tonight I'm going out and having myself at time and I don't care how much it cost. And what did Sally say to that? Well, like almost any young wife who said to live on a shoestring and who wants to save a little money for the baby that's on the way, Sally said, you're meant wonderful, but we can have fun without spending a lot of money.

What happened? You're hearing just a minute. But first, a word about our recipe of the week. Yeah, what is that that smells so good, Mary Lee? It's Turkey Chowder, Dale. A wonderful way to use any leftover turkey, chicken, duck, or guinea hen.
