Any one of you who reads this newspaper can have a person committed to an insane asylum just by having two doctors certify that he's insane.

Nor do these doctors have to be psychiatrists and neurologists, men who know mental diseases. Far from it. The presence of all this are sovereign state, merely says two doctors. They can be horse doctors. It makes no difference just so long as there are two of them.

Think what that means. How would you like to find yourself taken from your family, your home, sealed up behind high walls for the rest of your life? The Medical Association has fought for reform. The Daily Settlement is fighting for it.
