Van Ruyves and Tom Satt, Thomas and Vollvilleman, both and that. The whole drama of life is written in the sounds of time. We present a new series of radio programs, but clock. Got a little time to spare, thirty minutes maybe by the clock.
But first, perhaps I better introduce myself. Of course I have so many names, the times it becomes rather confusing. In England, for instance, they call me Ben. I have a large, extremely showy flat in Westminster Tower.
It's distinguished, but mildly. Just between the two of us, I feel more comfortable at the end of the chain. And again, you can find me on your wrist, taking away on a minor key. Of course, there's the quiet old lady who keeps a favorite place for me in the corner of her room.
To her, I'm known as Grandfather. Yes, I'm known by many names, to a multitude of people. And I know a multitude of people by their names. People whose lives have so much to do with a clock.
I am the only one who can really sell time. So here are 30 minutes on the counter, for whoever wants to buy. 30 genuine 14 carat solid gold platinum lined minutes. Carefully tested. And here the gentleman who thinks he can afford them.
What the hell? Fine. Wrap him up for Wilbur Cook. I've made a sale. But remember Wilbur, no refund, no exchanges. Well, the clock in our house is a time talk. and it's got a hand on it.
And I've pushed that handle for 30 years, twice a day. Nine when I come in, and when I go out it. I'm a clock on the dot, leave it to Wilbur, most dependable guy in the firm, yes, sorry.
