Grandma Ma, you must, Grandma Ma. Those rubbish across I am. And they, Grandma Ma. Let's kill all of you. I can't make a speech on my own birthday by this time, and I shouldn't be here at all.

Oh, well, well, well, well. Highland. Oh, you're all here. The whole lot of you. The whole here is family. Here in this room, this evening for my birthday. My 100th birthday. I never thought I'd live that long, did you?

Well, I did. Now, I suppose you all come to look at me. A last look, I suppose you're thinking. Well, if it should be your last look at me, always remember that it's my last look at you, too.

At you, Will Harry's. You may be a famous novelist now, but you were a very stupid little boy. Never did learn how to spell. And you, Amy. And you, Amory, you're in Parliament and very active, I hear.

But you will never be as good a speaker as your father, and he was just a vicar in our village church here in Cumberland. Veronica, you're looking well? Pisingly well when I think of how they all run the fat on your side of the family.

And you, Ellis, sir, Ellis, I suppose I ought to call you. Tell me you're going to be a very big man in the city some day. Where's your mother? I don't see her here tonight.

My mother begged to be excused. She was confined to her bed with a coat. In bed, eh? You were always an ailing lot, you London, Harry. Not like the Cumberland branch. Strong as hawks as we were. But wild and fat.
