And who for that purpose mingles with ordinary men disguised as Clark Kent, mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet newspaper. When we last saw Kent, he, young Jimmy Olsen, daily planet copy boy, and Carlett, with the shipwrecked boat electrician, were on the beach of Dead Man's Island, after Edwards had narrowly escaped death between the powerful shells of a giant clam.

The electrician, still weak from his horrible experience, is resting on the sand while Kent and Jimmy stand beside him. Listen, it may sound far-fetched, but I'm convinced those giant clams lurking in the deep water around Dead Man's Island have something to do with its mystery.
