Blunch! Hello there gang! This is your pal Dan McCulloch. Say, which is it? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a button? You never can tell for sure until you open your package to Kellogg's PEP and see which one of those three kinds of prizes you'll get.

So, every prize is always an exciting surprise. It might be a beautiful full-cutter bird picture from a series of 24, each with a description on the reverse side so you can name and know any of these birds around.

It might be a model of a fighting plane, one of seven thrilling plane models in the series, all made of colored cardboard and easy to assemble. Aura, your next pet prize, might be one of Pep's 18 slick comic buttons, picturing one of your favorite comic strip characters to pin on your beanie cap or your jacket.

And speaking of characters, you will be a mighty happy character yourself when you dig into your bowl of Kellogg's Pep, because every spoonful of these crisp whole heat flakes tickles your taste with its keen sunshine flavor. Every bull full of a treat. Every dish of pepper just about doubles the fun of breakfast. So get going gang. Ask mom for a

Kellogg's Pep to Sunshine cereal and see whether the prize inside your package is a bird, a plane or a button. Now the adventures of Superman. When Joe Martin, a war hero, was mysteriously shot during a veteran's demonstration against Governor Wheeler whom the GIs charged with practicing racial and religious discrimination, big George Latimer, the state political boss, virtually accused Sam Robbins,

Joe's best friend of firing the shots. When the gun was found in Sam's house, Latimer used the pages of the scandal-mongering metropolis clarion to whip up public opinion against Sam and the veterans, implying they were foreigners trying to overthrow the government. Enraged, the G.I. set out to liberate Sam from the state police jail, but were stopped by Superman.
