Tarzan and the Simba Hodari

From the heart of the jungle comes a savage cry of victory. This is Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle. From the black core of dark Africa, land of enchantment, mystery and violence, comes one of the most colorful figures of all time.

Transcribed from the immortal pen of Edgar Rice Burrows, Tarzan, the bronze, white son of the jungle. And now in the very words of Mr. Burrows, the story of Tarzan and the symbol Haudary. The beautiful Bukama Falls in a Belgian Congo cascade down almost 500 feet to a seething cauldron appropriately named the Boiling Pot.

But fantastic as it seems, the waters only a few hundred feet above the falls are as peaceful and calm as a mountain lake. There Tarzan had stopped to refresh himself, to float on his back and to laugh with the sheer joy of living.

Suddenly from the turbulent waters of the rapids came a man's frantic scream. Carson's body arched as he turns over and slams with powerful strokes toward the angry violence of the rabbit. Help me, someone! Try to hold on to that scrub, Drove!

I'm saying, turns to the front, it's pulling me away! Hold on! I'm trying to reach you! I can't hold on any longer! Don't let go! There's a 500 foot drop, nothing but rocks below! I'm trying!

I'm done! I'm done! I'm done! I've got you. I don't don't fight against you. Well, Mr. DePaul, this is the end. Oh, I'm gonna grab my arm. I gotta reach that overhanging limb, we... Look, Evelyn. I reached it.

The whole tide will I try to pull you up. All right. Got you. Now, relax. Let me... All right. This will only move better. I'll wait until... The tree's packing. We'll never make it. You can try!
