And now, a tale well calculated to keep you in, so spent. Listen now to Act 1 of the luck of the Tiger Eye, starring Joan Lorring and Leon Jenny, written especially for suspense by Jack Butrove.

I don't like it, Henry. Don't like what? The old man's quarter of a million? No, the night in that storm. And I don't like having to come all the way up here now if we could just wait until another time.

Baby, you know that the will is very explicit. You have to come up here before the month is out. Now do you want to collect a quarter of a million or not? Darling, you know I do.

That's the way I like to hear my girl talk. It'll just be tougher tonight and we can get back to the city and... Oh, I mean... Maddie, adjust to the right. What a night. Will we be there soon?

I think so. That must be it. I saw the old house enumerated in that last flash. The pride must be along here somewhere. Oh, honey. What a nut! Building a house like that up here.

Henry, please don't speak disrespectfully of the dead. After all, he was my uncle. And he's probably turning over in his grave at the thought of his niece coming to claim part of the inheritance. What a crazy cotter so he added to the will.

Oh. Okay. End of the line. You're handing me the flashlight out of the blempto part of the car. Thanks. I've got your bag. Come on. Slide out my side. It's closer. All right. Here's the door.

Where's the light? No bell. Quite a sense of humor. Oh, it's horrid. Not everyone has a bronze cobra head for a door knocker. Let's see if it works. Henry, I'm scared. Come on, Angel. There's nothing to be scared of.
