Very ill. Her father, the king, offered half his kingdom and the hand of the beautiful princess to whoever could make his daughter well. Doctors from all over the world came to the kingdom, but they could not help her. Then one day a clown came to the king and asked if he might help.
The king said, What can you, a clown, do for my daughter? And the clown replied, I can bring to her the gift of laughter. The happy clown was immediately taken to the Princess Chambers. There he told a wonderfully funny story of a clown who loved a princess, and he told the story as only a great clown could tell it.
And when he had finished, the princess's eyes bluttered open and she stood up in her bed and said, I don't get it. Be with us next time, when the story lady tells us how to cheat on your income taxes.
