another visit with a story lady. Hello boys and girls. Today we're going to hear the story I called Dumbo, The Flying Elephant. Once upon a time in a very big circus, a baby elephant was born.
He was very different from all the other elephants, for he had just about the biggest ears that anyone had ever seen. All the other elephants laughed at him. Dumbo, which was the little elephant's name, was very hurt by their laughter.
He decided to end it all. He climbed to the top of the tallest pole in the circus and jumped. And then he discovered a wonderful thing. He could fly by flapping his giant ears. Dumbo flew up to the top of the tent.
Over the three big rings, over the seats, swooped low and flew out of the tent and up into the air where he had a terrible collision with Sally Field and Julie Andrews and was grounded by the FAA for not filing a flight plan.
That was the 60-second preview
