In the miles of the Central Bureau in Washington, D.C., there was a story so strange in its implications that it defies ordinary classifications. Time, 719, an unidentified object was picked up 200 miles southwest of Pointe-Biro, Alaska.
Height, 75,000 feet. Estimated speed, 5,000 miles per hour. White warning. 754, first interceptor flight airborne. of interception 80 miles US of San Francisco, California. 755, unidentified object past point of interception, red warning. This is the account of a handful of people, who in the course of one desperate night, fought off an unknown, unseen menace from another world.
