Poisonous Gas

Number one, adventurer K7, former United States secret agent who operated in 22 countries, on land, on sea and in the air, brings you another modern story of today.

Here is K7. Ladies and gentlemen, in several of my recent stories, I have hinted of the activities of spies today. As all who read know, this activity is very real and often more menacing to peace than the plots of the international crooks.

No government is free from their threat. Today I bring you a story of a woman spy who worked alone, a modern Matahara. My old friend John Holbrook will take up the story at this point.

Thank you, K7. Recently, K7 told a story of propaganda, a story in which Rita Drake, daughter of a special agent, called on B9 to rescue her father. Following that adventure, B9 remained with the Drake's for several days.

He was expecting a cable gram. Our story now opens as the message arrives. B9. Very sweet, huh? I'm over here reading. B9, the cable he's been expecting has just arrived. I signed for it. Oh, thank you.

Let me have a please. Does it mean that you're going to leave us? Yes, Rita. I'm afraid it does. This is extremely important. One of the covenants most dangerous spies is at work. Are you going after it?

Yes, but it's not a man-reader. His spy is a woman. And... What's the matter? I was just thinking, let me read you this cable-gram. Sample of poison gas tested. Bound to be exceptionally deadly. Zor-a-la-val also after it.

It's sign K7. K7? Is he working on the K2? No, but I sent the gas to him to be tested. This is his report. Rita, would you like to work on this case with me?
